Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque enables children with congenital heart defects to undergo surgery when no medical solution exists in their home country due to technical or financial limitations. Thanks to a large network of solidarity, these children are welcomed and cared for in several cities in France and Switzerland, where they stay with volunteer host families or in dedicated care homes. Since its creation in 1996 by Professor Francine Leca, the association has helped over 5,000 children regain a normal life. In 2026, it will celebrate its 30th anniversary with an ambitious goal: reaching 6,000 children saved, a dream dear to its late founder. By supporting Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque during the Black Fairdays, each donation contributes to providing a life-saving operation for a child. For example, €12,000 can save one life. Since 2019, the generosity of Petit Vapoteur’s customers has already allowed €237,064 to be donated, saving nearly 19 children!
